How can i convince my spouse to start investing. My spouse thinks that it's better to just place $$ in FD..i've been trying to convince my partner that you'll get more return by investing.

Is there really a need to convince your partner into investing?

Perhaps she treasure certainty over anything else, and at least your partner is putting the money into FD and not rotting in the bank at 0.05%.

Just help her to beat inflation will do, into something like SSB or T-bills which are probably easier options for your partner.

They are risk adverse, you cant change much without them worrying constantly.

You can only encourage but can never convince, it's up to an indicidual whether they would like to invest or not.
