Feeling v useless and aimless at my current stage. ppl around are have side hustles/ hobbies whereas i have absolutely nth. i just work.

Im in my 30s and everyone around seems to have sth gg on in their life etc good career, side business. unlike them, i just seem to be floating in life aimless with no direction no goal no hobby, what should i do? feeling quite miserable with myself...

Nope.. Sadly, as easy as this feeling of self-pity comes, it doesn’t help us in any way.

So are you ok with it? If ok, then no issue. If not, then take action.

Don't get stressed up by others. Everyone's situation is different e.g. they could have loans to repay, luxe pursuit. Nevertheless, would encourage you to work on a life goal. It could keep you grounded during down times.

Personally, I have cut away from social media such as IG and FB to avoid having a comparison mentality. It is good to see how your peers/relatives are doing occasionally. Most people do not share the ugly side of their lives so having "something good" is probably keeping them afloat as well.

Working and contributing to our society is really important. Perhaps you might want to think about the purpose of life and it's the end goal.

Some people find meaning in volunteering, giving to charities, participating in religious activities, or having a goal to travel the world with their savings.

Another direction since you are already working is to help your co-workers become better by helping them or becoming a trainer with juniors under you to excel in their work. Why not since you are spending more than 1/3 of your working day with these colleagues? Making the best of the worst might help.
