E-statements boon or bane?

I notice that cards would automatically enrol you in e-statements. However I find them difficult to use; need to open via app, or lost in junk email, needing to type password to open the pdf. Paper statements did not have all this hassle. What are your thoughts?

EStatements is fine. Usually opening through app is less of a hassle.

Save the hassle of downloading the e-statements. Just check transactions directly from the screen before making payment.

I prefer e-statement as it is more environmental friendly and is easier to keep records....
