Does anyone know what is the difference between Ex-Date and Buy-In Last Cum date?

I was scrolling through CapitaLand Dividend announcement and I realised that the Ex-date is the same as the Buy-In Last cum date and I was wondering what is the difference between the two.

If you want the dividend, you should buy when the ticker shows CD or cum dividend.

If you want to sell the shares but still want the dividend, you should sell when the ticker shows XD.

If you buy when it is XD, you are not entitled to the dividend.
