Does anyone have a more layman definition for early and intermediate CI?

Does the stage number not correlate to early/int/critical stage? What would be an easy way to explain/understand the differences between early and immediate CI?

Hi Shulingg,

I don't think there are super layman terms, as the terms are specified to us by the Life Insurance Association and all insurers follow the guideline.

Of course each insurer might have different coverages and definitions in regards to Early CI, so it would be best to look into the policies to have a better picture on what is covered

NO. Stage number does not necessarily correlate to the stage for critical illness. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Spend quality time to research on each condition

  2. Check with specialists from different specialisation on each condition
