Dear All, I would like to understand the difference between commission fee and the platform fee charged by the brokers (moomoo, webull etc)

Am I to understand correctly platform fees is something that is charged annually/quarterly on the total investments that you have something like a annual management fee while the commission fee is one off fee that you pay at the point of purchase of the stock?
