DBS Altitude vs Citi PremierMiles - Which one?

Both had 1.2 mpd for local spend
Both had 2.0 mpd for overseas spend
Both awards you 10,000 miles for paying the annual fee

Both provides 2x PP lounge access per year

For fresh graduates / someone new to miles game who spends only $500 to $700 a month and travels overseas once / twice every year, which card should they get?

DBS Altitude or Citi PremierMiles?
What are the differences between these two, and which one do you recommend?

Both cards are very similar, but I will take Citi PM, as they have far more transfer partners.

I also like the extra mpd (up to 10!) with Citi when booking hotels on Kaligo/Agoda/Expedia. If you travel for business and can book your own hotels and claim back from your company, this can be a killer way to accumulate miles

If you are crediting your salary to DBS multiplier account however, the DBS Altitude may be an option since it counts towards your interest bonus. That's about the one thing it has that edges out Citi PM.

Citi Premiermiles.

This is because Citi rewards points are able to be converted into a larger variety of airline partners for their miles than DBS. This allows you the flexibility to choose which airlines best suits your needs.

Do take note its only DBS altitude Visa which gives you the lounge and not the American Express Version.

DBS has some pretty good mileaga rates for airline and hotel spending (3 mpd).
