Currently i think UOB absolute is able to get a 1.7% cashback provided your insurance company accept amex payments

Hi Anon,
Blake is right - UOB Absolute is one of the only cards that award rewards for insurance payments. But the caveat is that UOB Absolute is an AMEX card that not many insurance payments accept. One way to work around this is to use the UOB Absolute card to top up your Grabpay card (earns 1.7% cashback), and use your Grabpay card (ie Mastercard) to pay for the insurance. You won't earn Grab points, but you basically earned 1.7% cashback on your payment all the same.
