Changing to a low salary job to fulfil a career dream

Currently in my early 30s, I'm considering pursuing my one of my dreams of being a cabin crew with a foreign airline (JAL). I heard have an average salary of 2.8k a month including allowances all in. This is going to be a 60% pay cut from my current job which I don't enjoy in the first place.

My ultimate career goal is to fly (pilot or cabin crew) because I like the operational nature of the job, but I'm also concerned that if I eventually don't make it, I might not have any potential career prospects there after.
