3 years is a rather long time to wait for 1 year bonus. So many things can change - for example, you could get retrenched, the company could go bust etc.

Depends on how much conviction you have with regard your career switch. What are the reasons you want to switch.

Depending on which one is more Important to you

If your boss is good, then stay.

So basically, they are giving you about 3+ months bonus per year but delaying the payout.

I say go for career switch (and potentially immediate increment)
