Absolutely not too late! Starting from the ground is a humbling experience, but your journey will be quicker and smoother thanks to the wisdom and skills you’ve gained as a working adult. Be prepared to take a pay cut, but if it’s something you’re passionate about, it’s worth the leap. Go for it, and best of luck! (P/s: i did a career switch at 38 and never regret my decision)

Be open to taking a paycut. No one is going to pay you close to your last drawn especially if your skillset is irrelevant. Grind and level up then you can ask for more money.
This is exactly what a friend of mine is refusing to deal with - constantly rejecting 3-4k jobs in a new industry just because his previous role was paying him slightly over 5k.
