Look for instruments that are approved for use by your SRS Account. Here are a few examples that you can consider:

. Endowment or annuity from insurance companies

. Investments and unit trust from insurance companies or investment house

. Selected shares and ETF

Just adding on, now we can invest our SRS monies using robo platforms like Moneyowl, Endowus and Stashaway.

These options can be a cheaper way than unit trusts to get a global exposure through funds.

For SRS account, you can only purchase SGX listed shares and ETF. Ask your broker he should be the one with the best knowledge on this

Yes, SRS only allows you to SGX listed shares. You will need to link your SRS account number with the brokerage of your choice. Please note you need to link SRS account with each brokerage on your own, it wont be auto to all your brokerages.

Approach each of your reps at each brokerage with the SRS account and they will do the same
