Hi, I intend to use MY SRS to invest in some SGX mainboard listed shares and REITs, are there any restriction or as long as I have sufficient cash balance in my SRS account?

Just made sure you had enough money in the SRS in order to meet potential rights issue by reits, if any

Hi Kristan,

The only restriction at the moment is that SRS monies are not allowed to be used to purchases non-Singapore shares. Other than that, you should be able to invest in almost anything else.

There are little retrictions on using SRS for investment except for property purchase. You will need...
