My name is included in a group travel insurance list and I find that the coverage is insufficient. Can I buy one more? What happens if there's a claim, do i get 2 separate payouts?

Yes, you will be able to buy more than one travel insurance.
For medical reimbursement, you may claim up to the medical bill amount.
For death claims, all policies will issue a payout (subject to the policies' terms - have to check since different policies may have different terms and exclusions).
For loss of items and delays, we will have to check the individual policies for its terms and exclusion.
In most cases, I will suggest for my clients to buy an individual travel insurance policy that they are comfortable and confident with. Additionally, it is a bonus to get it through a trusted agent. This way, he will be able to assist in any policy or claim related enquiry.
