Braces in JB or SG?

Hi M24 here, just started working, and I have always wanted to get traditional metal braces since young but never had the budget to do so. wondering if I should get braces in SG or in JB with a rough budget of 3-4k over the span of 2-3 years. Am i putting a too low budget? I am fine with the pain and also wearing it for a longer period if I can keep the cost low. What should I consider if I am thinking of doing braces?

I just removed mine 2 weeks ago. I am in my early forties. started my journey in 2021-Feb, overall took 3+ years. total cost about 4k spread across the 2-3 years, did metal Coz (1) I don't really bother about the looks on teeth, no one is gonna tell me I look ugly with braces, (2) my teeth are stubborn, large and deep, need harder pull And Invisalign (as advised by doc) won't cut it. Did mine at smile dental, affordable prices, at waterway point because it's 7-8mins away and easy to go and get adjustments and get fixes. My alternative is national dental center but price difference between 2.5k and 3.5k spread across 2years plus and waiting as well as time to travel and manage appt (waiting included)... I decided to go with smile dental.
