Hi Anon,

I don't plan to retire but if I were to do so, here's my gameplan:

  • Buy an island

  • Build a house there (DIY)

  • Grow a few crops and raised some animals (anything that could catch Covid-19 is still okay)

  • I might not have internet access on my island, but I can spend hours fishing and swimming!

Cheers,

Pascal

It has always been a dream of mine to open an ice cream cart and sell ice cream to Primary School kids LOL. So that's that.

I would also spend my time reading books, watching netflix, going for walks, exploring unknown places (yes, even in SG), going for courses (e.g. pottery, painting classes etc).

Of course, you can always travel esp if you are financially independent. I would definitely head to Australia for my retirement trips.

There are many places to explore in Singapore, from East Coast Park to the museums that are free of charge. There are also clubs organised for the seniors and tour groups too.

Community centres also provide a wide selection of activities to spend time on. If you are seeking a more meaningful approach, volunteering at animal shelters or orphanage and care centres would be a meaningful experience too. You can also start a hobby that you'd forgotten about like painting, knitting or even dancing too.

Netflix, tv, internet, go to cc activities? Attend skills future courses? Uhm visit museums and upcoming art shows. Visit one end of Singapore to the other, visit all the islands that are part of Singapore

You don’t have to retire in SG. You can use SG as a base and do arbitrage....
