Couple 47 this year, just fully paid our private property (worth ~SGD 2.0M) and years ago, HDB (~SGD 0.5M). Hit our CPF > FRS and cash savings about SGD 0.5M. What should we invest on? no decoupling.

Background: 54 years old, still working, slightly over 1mil in combined savings. Owns HDB 4 room, looking to buy 2nd property for investment (or own stay in the future)?

If you own a private property when you are 22 yrs old. Can you still buy BTO fm HDB n sell off yr private property?

What is the current insights into investing into properties, do you advocate upgrading from HDB to new EC or new condo? or buying resale ? is there still opportunities to buy at this point of time?
