Just to supplement on BOC Smart Savers - both Salary and Credit card spending are tier interest just to be clearer.

Salarly credited into BOC account $6000 or less interest will be 0.3%pa. Salarly credited above $6000 interest will be 0.5%.

Credit card spending between $500 and $1500 interest will be 0.3%. Spending above $1500 will be 0.5%.

And if the amount of money in the account is above $80,000 - there is a Extra Savings interest of 0.4%.

Preference is for BOC Smart savers. Rules governing the interest framework is clear and concise, unlike DBS's there is so much to remember - not worth the hassle !!
