But I honestly feel this there should be other measures looked upon, namely:

  • Dividend yield - to understand how much is your money really working for you. The dividend yield of the stock list you provided ranges from
  • EPS and Dividend Payout ratios are good metrics which you used - but as can be seen for companies like HK Land which reported a negative EPS yet still maintained it's dividend for the yield, but at what cost to it's liquidity, hence the next measure...
  • total dividends as percentage of Cash & Cash Equivalents - to understand the health of cashflow of company - still recalled this company called Rickmers was consistent in paying out their dividends annually. Yield was approx 10% but this payout was diminishing it's cash and eventually it couldn't sustain its operations.

P.S One tip to present your data in a more organised manner would be to put it in 2 decimal places.

Some may have delisted.

some regulated by MAS during bad times have to conserve capital

some just listed not too long ago
