Any recommendations on miles credit cards for someone who isn't a big spender?

I'm looking at DBS altitude vs CITI premieremiles. Which is better and are there any cards that you guys would recommend? Need some help. I'm not a big spender. Fresh grad.

I prefer Citi premiermiles card. It works with more airline partners compared to dbs altitude.

Also, singsaver constantly have different promotions when you sign up for Citibank cards like premiermiles. So that’s a plus.

Hey there!

DBS Altitude and Citi PM are fairly similar, but I think Citi PM is better.

  1. Citi miles can be used for a wide variety of airline programs (the most flexible miles in SG), while DBS miles can only be used for KF/Cathay Pacific/Qantas.

  2. Citi PM's free insurance coverage is more extensive

  3. Citi PM gives you access to Citi PayAll - a payment facility to let you earn miles on bills/payments that normally don't earn miles (ie utilities, education).

  4. Citibank has more rewards/promotions at restaurants/shopping outlets in general

Other than these 2 cards, some other miles cards that are great include HSBC Revolution, UOB PPV, Citi Rewards. All of them give 4 mpd for selected spending vs 1.2 mpd with Citi PM/DBS Altitude. These cards may allow you to earn miles at a faster rate, so you can check them out if you're interested.

Hope this helps!
