best is not to take reno loan - spend without your available cashflow in my opinion, buy slowly
appliances - just apply for new credit cards for cashback and then after min. holding period, cancel them (oops, sorry credit card companies), look for furniture fairs/go JB buy/events like double digits days to buy appliances.
