After spending 6 months with a lousy reporting manager, I decided to to call it quits and surprisingly got a much better paying job offer from a recruiter. Why do I feel defeated by running away.

Don't really quite sure why u feel defeated when u got a better paying job and away from the lousy boss.. not everyone is as lucky as you . Move on and work your best.. no point in feeling defeated
