Hey there!
Your CPF investment is as good as the funds invested and the agent managing it. You have to make sure you are aware of the track record of the funds and why youre invested in it. Also, you need a system whereby to agent will be updating you and reviewing your investment. If your agent is unsure of how this works, I will suggest you either do with another agent or get another plan from another Insurer. Also, you need to be aware of the costs. Is it a front loading charge? If it is, how Long will it take to break even? Can you effectively outbid the typical OA rate? That's where the track record of the investment comes in albeit past performance is never guarantee for future yield.
