  • AXA Cancer ReCover is a coverage plan designed for cancer survivors; specifically, individuals who have had cancer before and are currently in remission.
  • It covers Early, Intermediate and Advanced Stage Cancer Benefit.
  • At Early or Intermediate Stage cancers, insurers can get 15% of sum assured while for Advanced Stage cancers, insurers can get 100% sum assured, less any previously paid.
  • The sum assured under AIA Cancer ReCover is flexible, you can choose from $25,000 to $250,000. Your premiums will then be priced accordingly.
  • The plans available come in 5 policy term options - 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 years.
  • Additional Death and Terminal Illness benefit - receive 15% of the sum assured if the life assured passes on or is diagnosed with terminal illness.
  • Additionally, AXA provides free cover of 15% sum assured for your child should they be diagnosed with any advanced stage cancer.

      Exclusions for Cancer Insurance

      • Any pre-existing conditions that are related to cancer will not be covered.
      • CancerPlus does not cover any cancer (Early, Intermediate or Major), if the diagnosis of the cancer or treatment of cancer was made within 90 days from the date of the policy or the date of reinstatement of the policy.
      • Additionally, any cancer caused by drug or alcohol abuse will also be excluded.

      Eligibility: Who can apply for AXA Cancer ReCover

      • Age of entry for Life Assured: 5 to 65 years old
      • Age of entry for policyholder: 18 to 99 years old
      • Maximum Coverage Age: 70 years old
      • The applicant's previous cancer can be of Carcinoma-in-situ (CIS) or Stages 1 to 3, except for brain cancer.
      • The applicant has to be in remission for at least 3 years.
      • The applicant has only 1 previous cancer.
