I’m thinking of withdrawing my funds from STI and DCA monthly into S&P500 instead. Which ETF is recommended for beginners? Or should I put the funds into equity100?

Hi, I assume you are able to trade in US market through your current broker. I would recommend Index ETFs like VOO or SPY in US market. Otherwise, you could buy SPDR S&P500 US$@ from our SGX although the trading volume is relatively much lower.
For beginners, and if you have a long term investment horizon, Syfe's Equity100 is a fantastic way to start! You can do regular top ups or accumulate a lump sum whenever you have cash to invest. The top 4 ETFs in Equity100 are:
Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ): Apple, Netflix, Amazon, Intel, Facebook
iShares Core S&P 500 UCITS ETF (CSPX): Berkshire Hathaway, Microsoft, Visa, JP Morgan Chase, Johnson & Johnson
iShares MSCI EAFE ETF (EFA): Nestle, Roche, Novartis, AIA, Toyota
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP): Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Walmart, Altria
With 12 ETFs across sectors and geography, you would have a well diversified portfolio as your baseline. Once you build enough base, you could further explore more "Growth" ETFs like ARKK in future.
Hope you find this useful. You can read more here: https://www.syfe.com/equity100
P.S. Those with Syfe accounts will have a referral code you could use. If not, do let me know, I can share mine. 😆

VOO for S&P500
Some others will recommend you the UK based S&P500 like CSPX and etc.
But I felt that the additional 15% WHT is negligible in the first place since you are not investing for dividends. And it is more actively traded in the US market so in any case you need cash urgently, you can liquidate it fast.
