Since stashaway are able to provide a diversified portfolio (US, china, gold, healthcare etc) as well
This is the performance of StashAway from Jul 2017 to Jul 2019 compared to a similar risk benchmark.
Overall, there is better performance over the benchmark. However, it is important to note that 2 years is too short a period to confirm any trends of outperformance and usually a minimum of a 5 year period is considered. For the period from 2017 to 2019, it is also part of the longest bull run from 2009-2020, and therefore does not amply take into account for the economic fluctuations in the market for future projection.
In the short term I think they've beat or at the very least matched the performance of major indexes. However, the long-term is more difficult to say, but the performance also depends a lot on the risk appetite you've indicated for your portfolio!
