What's the best credit card to collect miles without having a minimum salary of $30K annually?

What credit cards should one get if his annual salary if less than the min. $30k? The focus would be on collecting miles.

While you may not hit the 30k minimum at present, I am confident you will hit it eventually so hang in there! To better maximise your waiting time, you could invest the time in doing some research and go all guns blazing once you are ready.
Do leverage on one-off sign-up bonus from the various banks for new-to-bank customers. I would recommend staying up to date with all these bonus via:

  • SingSaver or MoneySmart. They regularly share sign-up bonus from the various banks, say $250 for signing up for a Citibank card as a new-to-bank customer.

  • Milelion Roar telegram broadcast channel (https://t.me/milelionroars). They post all (I think?) promotions almost in real time, as well as compile a Weekly Deal Summary to ensure you do not miss out on any promotion. Best of all, it is a channel so no spams! Only the best stuff shared there

I also found this article (https://milelion.com/2019/09/21/miles-game-star...) useful as to the different combination of cards available to maximise all possible miles based on the various transactions.

With this, I believe you will be more than ready for the miles game when the 30k minimum is hit. All the best!

Most if not all credit cards require an annual income of $30,000 or more, otherwise consider a debit card. There are debit cards that offer 0.50-1.00 miles per dollar spent if i recall

If you don't have a minimum annual income of $30,000, you won't be able to qualify for any of the air miles credit cards that people have been raving about. If you meant that you are a student and therefore don't have a mininum annual income of $30,000, your only option is Citibank Clear Card. However, this credit card gives you a meagre 0.4mpd. As suggested that many, it would be better for you to focus on increasing your annual income to meet the minimum requirement and that would widen your options.

Dont think can have CC with salary less than 30k. If have, dont think can collect alot of miles as well if the spending is not there

Hi Steven,

I'm going to provide an alternate view point here: Why not focus on getting your salary ...
