What is the starting pay for an NUS Business graduate?

I currently have around 1 year of internship experience at different startup as a marketing intern. As i am graduating next August, was wondering what is the market rate and how much should i ask for during the interview?

The survey is self-reported and I doubt how accurate it is.
But from my friends and personal experience:
$2900-$3000+: accounting, insurance (not agent)
$3500-4000: govt
$4000-5000: MNC
$6000: reputable MA program
$10k: google, fb, investment banking

Hey Anon!

I can't help you with the specifics but based on the Graduate Employment Survery (2019) for NUS Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons):

Basic Monthly Salary

  • Mean: $4,451

  • Median: $4,000

Gross Monthly Salary

  • Mean: $4,593

  • Median: $4,150

  • 25th Percentile: $3,500

  • 75th Percentile: $5,000

Basic monthly salary pertains only to full-time permanently employed graduates. It comprises basic pay before deduction of the employee’s CPF contributions and personal income tax. Employer’s CPF contributions, bonuses, stock options, overtime payments, commissions, fixed allowances, other regular cash payments, lump sum payments, and payments-in-kind are excluded.

Gross monthly salary pertains only to full-time permanently employed graduates. It comprises basic salary, overtime payments, commissions, fixed allowances and other regular cash payments, before deductions of the employee’s CPF contributions and personal income tax. Employer’s CPF contributions, bonuses, stock options, lump sum payments, and payments-in-kind are excluded.

Hope this helps!
