Most important skill: Resilience, taught through all the tight deadlines, tough examinations and uncomfortable presentations.
Only with resilience, can you survive in this harsh world. Only with resilience will you want to strive harder and work smarter because of your determination. Only with resilience, can you face challenges without much fear.

Interestingly, our school system actually does teach us that if we work hard, we will get the results we want. Let's not talk about whether what we learnt are relevant or not. But rather, in order for one to be successful, the value of study hard, constant practises and never give up can really take us far.

Despite having multiple opposing opinions with Singapore's education system, I would say there are a few qualities I got out of it (unknowingly.). Singapore's education system is no doubt very stringent (the heavy emphasis on academics) but I would say that that isnt always bad. Other than the academic vigour and stress it put us through, it prepared me for the future in ways like being able to handle a heavy workload and not cracking under pressure (well, still do but not as much)
