What is the best hotel to hold a wedding at for miles accrual?

Yes as many of the responses have mentioned, the miles accural shouldn't be primary reason for your consideration. After all, most if not all hotels do accept various payment methods that allow you to earn miles (just a matter of the rates which you've rightly pointed out contactless and/or payment online).

Haven't had any personal experience myself, but it seems that most hotels are pretty flexible in acceeding to your requests. Ask and you shall receive, the hotels should be accomodative to ensure you have the best wedding planning experience with them.

Yes, if you do find a hotel that accepts contactless payments, 4mpd is there for the taking.

But that's your last consideration. The banquet is a celebration of the union of two individuals with their families and friends and no amount of miles should make you change your mind about the venue. I read a story once about a husband who changed the gynae clinic because the original one didnt accept contactless payments for 4mpd...imagine if your wife found out the real reason.

Choose the hotel that suits your spouse and you, and don't care abt the miles first. its going to be difficult as it is :D

you are going to have a hard time choosing, factoring in

1. food nice?

2. location okay for people who drive (standard marathon traffic chaos anyone?)

3. location ok for people who don't drive?

4. acceptable to your family?

5. acceptable to her/his family?

6. pricing okay?

7. do they have opening for the date of your choice?

Omg, there are so many things to consider, trust me, what credit card to use shld be the last thing.

once the hotel is choose, then u can think again on what credit card to use for the spending (time it with the ongoing sign up bonus for any miles card)​​​
