Do i get by kirsflyer miles back? If yes how many working days will it take? will there be repercussions- getting less priority when it comes to booking like with grab.
It depends on the validity of the miles you have used for the redemption.
If your miles were set to expire on 31st Dec 2020, you redeemed a flight on 31st Oct 2020, and then you cancelled after 1st Jan 2021, the miles you used would have expired anyway, and there will be no refund whatsoever.
If you cancelled on 30 Nov 2020, you'll get your miles back but have to find some other flight to book by 31st Dec 2020 or else they will expire.
I'm afraid I don't know the duration, but it shouldn't take longer than a week.
(1) if you booked under Spontaneous Escapade program the miles are nonrefundable in any way
(2) your Miles would be tagged to their own expiry date so if you canceled and it's already past the expiry date then the miles would be nullified too
other than that, you should be able to see your returned miles almost immediately when the flights are canceled
They will give you back your redeemed krisflyer miles. However take note they will not renew the miles and give you a fresh 3 years validity. And i dont think they got reprecussions such as giving you less priority- this one depends if you are a PPS member or otherwise
If the mile not expired and not spontaneous escape booking ,
mile wil back to account immediately after u cancel , i canceled twice, appear immediately.
"will there be repercussions- getting less priority when it comes to booking ",
no what u see is what other people see, if seat available, u can jus book it.
Singapore airline will refund you the Krisflyer miles back. (with the same expiry date originally)
You do have to pay for a rebooking fee to use the miles later.
SQ usually takes less than a week to refund the Krisflyer miles
Pay a service fee to redeposit your miles.
Takes up to a week.
You get your krisflyer miles Back.however the 3 years validity of your miles will not be renewed. For example if you had used miles that was going to expire in 1 Feb 2020 for redeeming a flight and you then cancel the flight, the miles will be returned to you and still maintain their expiry date of 1 Feb 2020
It depends on the fare if cancellation is allowed. After deducting the relevant charges, you will receive a refund back to your KrisFlyer account. However, any expired miles will be forfeited.
