What could be some of the most economical gyms to sign up for in Singapore?

After a couple of years of grinding in the rat race, realised that I have adopted a highly sedentary lifestyle(especially when I'm not the most sporty person around). I've realised the need to start losing weight before major health issues start to follow. What kind of gym memberships or programs could work best for my profile?

Hi anonymous!

It's good to realise that besides saving and investing, taking care of your health is one of the most fundamental things which most people neglect. As cliche as it sounds the age old adage of "Health is Wealth" is very true!

Think about it, if you're working yourself to the bone and your health suffers... you'll end up spending more on medicine and health checkups to nurse yourself back to health. Which kinda defeats the purpose of working that hard right?

The key here is to find options which are economical but most importantly are near or along your daily commute.

That way you really don't have a reason not to go since it's just 5 mins away from home, or literally on the way to your office or back home.

With these considerations in mind, we've also recently updated our "Cheap Gym Memberships Under $100 Per Month" article which should help you make your decision!

Included are also a couple of options which might be near your workplace so there's no excuse for you to NOT get active!

If you want to squeeze in a workout during lunch hour, then you might want to find options which are closer to your office.

And as always, Seedly's got your back fam!

Check out our "Affordable Fitness Classes Near Your Office For A Quick Workout", and hopefully you'll find an affordable option near your workplace!

Lastly, starting is always the hardest. But consistency and discipline is key to maintaining an active lifestyle. The first few day or weeks will be the toughest, but keep at it and you'll eventually find that it becomes part of your daily routine.

All the best!

Maybe to start off with, you should start having a habit of exercising prior to committing to any gym memberships.

Get the gears greased up first.

Active SG is not bad as it is low costs and can go to sports complex islandwide.

But the best thing to do is to go for a long jog.
