Unit Trust vs Private Trust, what are the differences and their respective pros and cons?

Which one is a better investment? What are the pros and cons to investing in each type of Trust? What are some considerations that I should be having before investing in a Trust Fund?

Not sure if i understood your question correctly.

my understanding of a "private trust" is a legal entity to provide for its beneficieries. usually set up by high networth individuals to protect their wealth. not sure how outsiders can invest in this structure.
