Wow first question I have seen that is SGX specific. Mermaid Maritime is a thai related company dealing with rental of equipments in the O&G space. Their balance sheet leverage ratio is one of the strongest in the SGX.
That said, if you believe there will be an improvement in the O&G support space in the near term, mermaid maritime will be one of the better bets for the recovery. In my opnion, though the valuation of their assets in PPE is very dicey. This is because a further deterioating in the current O&G market will result in more impairments and reduce their balance sheet resiliency. So take note on this part!
