Some questions on Revolut usage in Taiwan?

Hi everyone, I am going to Taiwan soon and I have recently gotten my revolut card. Currently in my account, there are 2 currencies, SGD and CAD.

  1. Can the bank only be used for withdrawals in ATM?
  2. If it can be use in other applications, can it be used anywhere as long as it has the MasterCard or the PayWave logo?
  3. Which of the 2 currencies will it be used? Or do I need to create another currency - NTD and transfer funds into it?

Noob qns as I rarely use card in overseas.

Those in Revolut app currencies are those you need to convert from SGD to that country currency. Other then that Revolut support 140 currencies which you just have to top up the amount to Revolut and it will automatically convert when you withdraw.

I did try once during my Vietnam trip. But do note that there is a fee charged when you withdraw from the ATM. Hope below url link helps.

  1. You can choose to withdraw cash at ATMs which support Visa or spend through Visa.

  2. Visa or Paywave. The Revolut card is a Visa card. (At least mine is)

  3. Should be SGD. Revolut will convert at the interbank rate and deduct from the account.

Any questions can check Revolut’s FAQ or ask their support too!
