Should I appeal for my hospitalization plan exclusion (Peptic Ulcer/Gastritis)? Policy entry date: Dec 2016?

I’m all well now but uncertain if I should spend more money to get my latest medical report from the specialist to clear me from the exclusion.
Some concerns:
-will my premiums increase as a result of being associated with the risk?
-Should I wait for a few more years to appeal?

Unfortunately, I’ve got an unhelpful agent, many times I have to call the main hotline to answer my queries.

Hi there! In general the exclusion is normally included at the start due to any pre-existing medical conditions. However I would think that it is worth seeing a specialist for the latest medical report. Before that I would personally consult with another agent to get their opinion.

In response to your questions:
1. Any increase in premiums would depend from insurer to insurer as their risk appetite may be different. However I would think that if you're in good health and have records showing you're fully recovered that your premiums won't be increased

  1. It depends on the recovery timing of the illness and the period in which relapse is most likely to occur.

If you are open to this idea, you may certainly wish to contact me and I can help you look at your hospitalisation plan in more detail and advise you accordingly.

U may request ur doctor to write a memo on ur current conditions. After that, submit to ur insurer to review ur medical again.
