My flat is 70% paid up. My CPF OA is 10k, SA is 60k. By year end I will be 55. Can I still use 20k of my SA to invest before my RA is created? If yes, what are some of the investments to go for short term? - Seedly

Hi, you can use SA (20k) to invest but there's hardly any investments that give you higher than 4/5% p.a.

If you are doing the SA Shielding, it doesnt really work cus your balance in SA 40K + OA $10K doesn't meet the minimum BRS.

The pledging of flat is to reduce FRS to BRS. You cant meet BRS also.
