Must I go for a health screening before buying cancer insurance? What kind of screening should I go for?

Understand some insurers will ask you to declare that there are no abnormalities in your medical report. I do go for annual health screening but it’s the basic package without any diagnostic test eg ultrasound & mammogram. Don’t think the basic package is sufficient to screen for cancer?
