Certainly prefer 100% WFM. Time and money saved on transport is too valuable. I lost 10kg during circuit breaker because I had more time to sleep and workout. Really love this arrangement.

I can also take a short break mid day to accompany my wife and daughter.

It depends on the industry that you're in. We struggled with this decision as well (and are still in the process of finalising details) as most of our work can be done online technically - as a digital agency.

However, as a young company it was a challenge to build culture during the WFH period this year. We used to have board game sessions in office, dinners together and other forms of employee engagement but since then we've had to either pause some of them or pivot.

While there are a lot of online options for employee engagement, we still feel it is not the same as being in the presence of one another.

So to answer your question, I think it depends on the "benefit" you define. If it is culture, then alternate work arrangements I feel are better, however if it is productivity, it depends on your industry/category.

Cheers!
