I've heard about cashback apps like shopback, is it possible to get both cashback and miles if I use a miles credit card on this kind of app?

I use Fave pay, which rewards cashback (on the next spend), but that also gives me miles since I pay with my miles card. So yes, it is possible to get both miles and cashback at the same time. Stack Fave with Grabpay and you'll get Grabpoints too. Make hay while the sun shines, since T&Cs and benefits can be changed any time.
I hardly shop, but maybe Kenneth can elaborate a bit on Shopback. Hope he sees this and chimes in with his thoughts.
Yes, Favepay would be a good way. Link it to Grabpay, and top up with your miles/cashback CC (take note to check if Grab is considered an eligible transaction). You will get cashback specific to what you use it for in Fave.

Shopback GO and Favepay gives you cashback.
And yet you can link your miles card to them so you get miles from your credit card spending
So cashback + miles!
Yes – you earn miles plus cashback if you use your miles card(s) on ShopBack. If you're willing to go the extra mile (pun intended), you can:
use a card that earns you miles on online spending, for purchases on ShopBack partner merchants like Agoda, Booking.com, Zalora, Nike etc. Tip: Travel websites are usually more generous with the cashback % on hotels/accommodation (often as much as 12% on ShopBack). Assuming your booking value will run into 3 (or even 4) digits, your savings as cashback + miles you earn can be quite significant.
supplement it with a card that will maximise your miles earning on offline spending at physical stores (such as the UOB PPV, which gives you 4 mpd when you payWave at the 800+ restaurants and fashion merchants that are on ShopBack GO). Cashback from these merchants ranges from 2% to 30%, in addition to the miles you earn from your card.
Disclaimer/source: I work in the ShopBack GO team (and have eaten/shopped my way to enough cashback and miles over the past 11 months to afford a return flight to Japan)
If you use shopback, you get a small cashback on the amount that you paid for the item. Assuming that you paid for the item using a miles credit card, yes, you get cashback on top of miles.
Additionally, you may consider other apps like Grab (for points) and Fave (for cashback).
Here is everything about me and what I do best.
1) Shopback - It gives you cashback on your spendings on their partner merchants, and you can use your miles card to earn you miles.
2) Favepay - Works about the same way! You can link to grabpay for extra grab points too.
To add on the phenomenon of using your Credit card to top up your Grab wallet to be linked to FavePay, this is what we termed as triple dipping - provided Favepay is accepted by the merchant.
And to maximise the miles earned, you can consider using AMEX Krisflyer (3.1 mpd) and Citi Rewards (4mpd) to conduct the triple dip. This way you truly maximise the miles and cashback earned in one single transaction.
Yes! Shopback and FavePay are two ways that you can get both cashback and miles, if you link a miles card to your account. In fact, for FavePay, you can link it to your Grab Wallet, and get triple rewards; cashback, grab points and miles!
I always use Shopback for my online shopping, especially local websites like Shopee or Lazada or for overseas trips like Agoda, Booking.com. Always remember to click into Shopback first and then linking to the website directly, to get your cashback! :)
Actually I was quite focused on miles to begin with by I have started using Shopback and happy to say it works wonders.
Sometimes for me, it's too many things to track which get overwhelming so for Shopback, I just let the cashback organically come to my account and check the promos once in a while :)
Yes, there are many ways. The more useful ones i shall list below:
Favepay (more towards food)
Singtel Dash (grocery and online purchase)
Personally i prefer Favepay and SIngtel Dash because there rebates are more towards everyday uses and they can be funded by Grabpay credits

Yes, it is possible.
2 known methods:
1) Fave Pay + Grab Pay. Top up grab pay using cards that rewards miles for spending on transport (Maybank Horizon, UOB Lady Card (must choose transport as a category), Citi Rewards Card). Then pay at merchants using Fave Pay but using grab pay as the payment method.
You earn miles (top up), grab points (using grab pay) and cashback (using fave pay).
2) Shopback Go. Link your miles earning card to Shopback Go and then just use as normal at merchants in the Shopback Go network. You earn cashback (Shopback Go) while also earning miles (your miles earning card).
Hope this helps!
