Is now a good time to invest in ETFs? How would I know when will be a good time to invest in ETFs or not?

In general, the role of an ETF is simply to track an Index, so thinking of whether it is a good time to invest would depend on the specific asset class exposure and Index that you are considering.

For the large part, most individual investors start off with stock ETFs.

Currently, traditional valuation multiples do suggest that stocks are relatively expensive compared to history, so it would make sense to have some prudence in your investment approach, which may favour dollar cost averaging (as opposed to lump sum investing) at this juncture.
