Is it worth investing $30k+ into a Computer Science degree in the long run? Or will a diploma suffice? Like will just having a diploma deter me from climbing the ladder (rank & salary)?

tl;dr Certificate still matters especially in the corporate world. However, I personally believe that it doesn't matter if you're good with what you do.
