Hi anon, if I'm not wrong, the $14k figure is at the point of application, and not at the time of key collection.

Hi Sudhan, thank you for helpful response. I always hear that the loan amount being based on the final assessment done for the HLE when it's closer to the key collection date (about 6 months before), so I'm wondering if it would be a blocker to get a HDB loan when our income exceeds $14k then?

Yeap, it will be re-assessed at key collection, that's what happened for me too. But if I'm not wrong, it's not a blocker. The point of application is where the income criteria eligibility comes in.
