I heard the AMEX platinum charge has a very high income requirement, anyone know if this is really the case or can you call in to force your application through?

Yes. Very high income requirement of $200k per year. You cannot force your way through, but if you income sits around $150k, you can call in and speak to them nicely. They might be able to help you on this. But no guarantee.

Anything below $150k, they will not be able to do anything for you.

Please also note it comes with a really high annual fees too.
