I am looking to invest in London stock exchange with only $5000. What are some things that I should take note of?

Looking to invest in London stock exchange.

What are all the fees which I have to take note of?

Is SCB the cheapest after counting the minimum brokerage fee and no custodian fee.

Also, how do I receive the dividends?

Dividends is automatically credited into your pound settlement account, 2-3 working days after official pay date
