Does proximity grant apply if I buy a resale near my dad’s public rental flat (house is rented from HDB)?

Why I do need to pay stamp duty and conveyance fee for early redemption of my housing loan at HDB? Is it to transfer the ownership from HDB (mortgage) to me?

Hi David, may I know on average how much downpayment for mortgage do I need to pay for a normal HDB BTO or HDB resale flat?

What is the current insights into investing into properties, do you advocate upgrading from HDB to new EC or new condo? or buying resale ? is there still opportunities to buy at this point of time?

For an EC, I heard that I could remove my name after the 5 years MOP (so left my partner’s name). Then I could buy another property without the additional stamp duties. Is there such a thing for BTO?
