You can get a prepaid card - you have to fund the account first but it presents like a Mastercard/Visa and can allow you to apply for things that need a cc number.

I am currently a student (above 21yo). I have a few debit cards used for shopping and daily needs. I dont have any cashflow issues or budget problems, and I do not spend unnecessarily. Should I apply for a credit card to improve my credit score?

Does DBS multiplier come with a debit card or do I have to apply separately? Also, can I apply for a DBS credit card if I am on 6 month contract job?

Are there any benefits in applying for a student credit card? Or is it better to just stick to using a debit card?

I hope I don't sound too uneducated here. I've just started learning more about personal finance recently. But why do people apply for credit cards when debit cards are so convenient?

How should I pay for my hotel overseas (Rupiah)? DBS Debit Card, CIMB Credit Card or get a Youtrip card since DBS Debit and CIMB Credit card will incur more fees, e.g. foreign transaction fees ?
