Hi there, I would like to check if I could still apply for insurance coverage if the doctor diagnosis is fibroadenoma, can I still be covered for it?

Is this possible? What are my options?

Hi there too! I’m so sorry to hear this. 😣However, I’ve a client that faced similar case as you. But thankfully, I managed to get her insured albeit facing with pre-existing conditions!

Nevertheless, it is all up to the underwriters’ decision as well as based on your current doctors report.

I always want the best for my clients and hope I can help you in any way.

Hi Anon,

Usually for such a condition even if benign, most insurers would either exclude breast related cancer or give a loading (extra premium) of 50-100%.

Thus, I'd like to introduce instead HSBC Life's Life Protect Advantage. It is the only policy that would accept benign breast conditions and cover breast cancer of all stages without a loading but subjected to a claim cap of $50k.

As an IFA, having access to these special products that we can consider for those with some health issues is an advantage.

You may still get accepted by other insurers, but HSBC Life may be your best bet. Do contact me if you'd like to consider this option.
