Hi anon,

Some days, I just each a fan choy from the coffeeshop and make a cup of tea for lunch. Or maybe a loh mai kai.

That's just $1.40. And I'm not overly fond of stuffing myself as I age so sometimes we really just need to eat until we don't feel hungry, as opposed to eating until we feel full.

So yes, you can still get food for $2 (or less)

Hi Anon,

Wow $2, even Ananas Cafe costs $2.50 now… 😅 But apparently, yes you still can!

2. Carrot Cake ($2)

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a $2 carrot cake…

Unlike most stores who usually get it from factory suppliers. Heng Leong Carrot Cake makes its own fresh radish cake from scratch for both their black and white fried carrot cakes.

The reviews reflect a strong taste of the wokhei with a generous portion for the price of $2!

Never have I ever… Seen fishball noodles in Singapore that go for $2!

With a whooping five fishballs, and noodles topped with fried pork lard and ikan bilis, just… Take my $2.
