Hi, I am looking to invest in IWDA ETF. Has anyone tried doing so via the IB Lite or is this only possible via the normal IB platform? - Seedly

Currently vested in IWDA using IB Pro, and have also used Standard Chartered Online Trading previously. Both platforms are quite competitive in terms of commission charges, especially for IB Pro once you have the monthly activity fee waived.

How do you get monthly activity fee waived?

Hi Caleb, you can get the monthly activity fee waived once you hit an AUM of $100USD. If you have below $100USD in AUM, you get charged $10USD monthly (waived for first 3 months upon account opening). Note that this $10USD can be used to offset commission and FX fees, i.e. if you clock $8USD total in fees in the month, you will only have to top up a difference of $2USD ($10-$2) for that month.

IB Lite only for US and Indian nationality clients only.

If you're just investing in S&P 500 and want to avoid charges, can consider kristal.ai
